Medical Detoxification
For each new client we provide an assessment to determine whether or not a medical detoxification is necessary. As we are a standalone facility, we do not have the capabilities to provide medical detoxification on site. However, we have professional relationships with numerous nearby hospitals to provide our clients with medical detoxification when medically necessary. We provide seamless transition between the detox facilities and New Hope.

Residential Day Treatment
Residential Day Treatment is the highest level and most comprehensive care we provide at New Hope Recovery Center. This Program allows for deep individual work without the distractions and interruptions of daily life. In this structured and intensive program clients live at New Hope Recovery Center for 4 weeks. [dropdown_box expand_text="Information" show_more="More" show_less="Less" start="hide"]

Aftercare Treatment
A continuum of care is one of the most important aspects of successful recovery following any type of treatment program. Our Aftercare Program includes group meetings for clients that were successfully discharged from one of our treatment program and are continually looking to better themselves and stay in recovery. [dropdown_box expand_text="Information" show_more="More" show_less="Less" start="hide"]

This community of committed people remain connected to New Hope and each other for lasting recovery. Our Aftercare Program is provided for six months after discharge from a higher level of care. If a client wishes to stay in aftercare longer than six months, that option is available at the discretion of the staff.
At New Hope, we keep connected with our clients even after Treatment ends. We follow up with calls or emails on a regular basis for 18 months following treatment. We also provide helpful transition follow up with family and friends. [/dropdown_box]

Extended Care
Our Extended Care Program offers a supportive, sober, transitional living environment for individuals who have completed our Residential Day Treatment Program and/or are transitioning from another facility’s rehab program. New Hope’s Extended Care Program is designed for patients in early recovery from drugs and/or alcohol addiction who would benefit from additional, sober structure and support after successfully completing an intensive treatment program. Our sober living residences are located in Lincoln Park, Chicago.

Family Program
Our Family Program is an integral part of healing for both the client and the family. We know family members frequently struggle wondering how to help, often feeling helpless, anxious and angry. Within 24-48 hours, we reach out to the family and significant others identified by our client, so they can be involved and supported. [dropdown_box expand_text="Information" show_more="More" show_less="Less" start="hide"]
New Hope’s Family Program offers evidence-based educational presentations on the Disease of Addiction, Behavioral and Relationship Effects, as well as promoting an understanding of how recovery can heal the family as a whole. As the family receives education, guidance and support, they learn how best to support their loved one and themselves. Our Family Program is for any relative, loved one, concerned person, friend, or other significant person in our client’s life. Our staff is available throughout the week to talk with family members in addition to the Family Program. We can also make referrals for family members, such as local therapists. We also offer an onsite Al-Anon meeting after our Family Program on Saturdays. Attendance at this meeting allows relatives, loved ones, friends, and any other concerned person to talk confidentially with other people who have been in the same or similar situations without having the client in the room.

Intervention
Addiction affects family and friends. Addiction intervention is much more than convincing someone to go to treatment. Intervention creates motivation to change, provides a safe environment for change and ideally causes a willingness to participate in and complete treatment. If you have a loved one who is struggling with Alcohol Addiction or substance abuse, we can help.

Our clients live in our Lincoln Park apartments and walk to our treatment center daily for their Treatment. They have a chance to experience triggers while in treatment, so our staff can help them work on their coping skills. This allows them to be prepared and informed on how to deal with triggers when they go home. If you have any questions regarding the treatment schedule or our Treatment Programs, please call us anytime. [/dropdown_box]
